Summary
This promo video was made for Verdun Adventure Bound, a non-profit organization that provides high ropes, teambuilding, summer camp programming and events. The goal was to create a concise video that shows Verdun’s mission and vision in action, and tells a story.
My Process
The video was created from thousands of unused photos which I sorted through, edited and compiled to highlight what Verdun offers. After choosing a couple hundred of the best photos, I split them into the categories used in the video and selected a hero image for each category. Since I could only work with still images, I sequenced images in ways that created continuity and gave the perception of events unfolding.
Deliverable
The video is designed for Verdun’s YouTube channel and prospective clients and partners. Verdun has been seeking partnerships with companies including DC United Foundation and the video is planned on being used for pitches aiming to secure funding and inspire partner programs in the future.
